"Daddy! I got ice cream! And nana and papa got me a new movie!" she said.
"Oh! sounds fun!" i said, and put out my arms. She hugged me as well, "What movie is it?" Will asked. "BARBIE!!!! Nana and papa said that if i was good they would get me a doll!" she said shaking around in my arms. "Well, if your good, we can watch it together tonight with popcorn." Will said. she quickly stopped and turned around on her heel and looked at us through happy eyes. she walked over to Will and informed us that she had forgotten something. she pulled our heads to her mouth and said, "thank you daddy, thank you mommy." we both smiled and kissed her, one cheek each.

We stayed and talked with wills parents for a while, but soon Lily was so tired so we decided that it was time to go home. Will picked Lily up from the couch and carried her to the car. He stuck her in her car seat and go into the drivers side of the car and we drove home. when we got home i put lily ot bed and we sat down together on the couch and watched a movie.

Will opulled out this teddy bear. Brand new. Will and I looked at the teddy Lilly had in her arms it was missing an eye and was filthy. "She'll love it." I said as I pecked Will on the cheak.

--------------------------------------- i smiled and said "yes,she will" then the next day at the party,it was time for lily to open the presents.i got them out and told her to open the present from me and will first.she opened it and looked a bit sad.she said "what is it,momma?" i said "it`s a new teddy bear.we can get rid of your old one and you can have a new one." i smiled and so did will.he said "happy birthday,sweetie" but lily was sad and threw the bear back in the box and said "i don`t want a new one!i like the one i have now!" she cried and ran upstairs to her room on the edge of seventeen... |

but then will ran after her and said "lily!get down here NOW!" in his harshest voice.i ran to him and pulled him by the arm. "will,don`t!don`t you see?she`s happy with the one she has.when she`s old enough that she feels she needs a new one but wants to keep the one she has,we`ll give it to her.but please don`t yell at her,i bet it scares her more than it does me.please!" i said,tears welling up in my eyes
