Immortal Beauty<*~*>

Ok peeps, here is yet another fanfic written by me. As you know, I am the only one who writes the story, in other words, it’s not a group story. I appreciate constructive criticism and comments.

Chapter 1:: My story, my solemn tale…


It was a crisp day in Valenvaryon. The soft breeze caressed my fair skin, blowing my raven black hair around my face playfully. Leaves of fall colors danced around my ankles as I walked on the stone path. I looked out over the bridge and saw the rapid current of the water flow along. It was peaceful, serene and tranquil. I wish I could say the same about my life.

As I rounded the corner, I bumped into Ethan. He was one of Father’s most prized warriors and one of the most handsome elves in all of Valenvaryon. He had chestnut brown hair and unusually green eyes for an elf. But I was considered rare for an elf myself. I had raven black hair and crystal blue eyes- which elves identify as dark beauty. It was also said that I emitted a natural light source, that similar to the moon and the stars.

Ethan rubbed his head a little. “Uh…sorry love, I mean Farah.” Ethan said sheepishly.

“No, I am the one who is sorry Ethan. You know me, the adventurous one who has her head stuck in the clouds.”

“Yeah, but you’re my adventurous girl. I love you with all of my heart, love.” Ethan cooed.

“I love you better than this immortal life we elves share.” I said blushing a light pink all the while.

Ethan looked into my ocean of blue as he wrapped his hand around my waist. We walked over to our secluded balcony, tarnished and eroded by time. Ivy had ensnared the floor and alabaster columns.

I gazed out into the valleys that lay ahead of our elven town. The sun shone above the green earth, giving it a breathtaking quality. Ethan leaned against a column watching me intently look out at the nature that surrounded us.

“Farah, you appear ethereal when you emit light. It takes my breath away and leaves me feeling encumbered with happiness.” Ethan said elated.

“You love, look so handsome in your elven warrior armor. It makes you look so handsome that it melts my heart.” I said lost in his emerald eyes.

Ethan smiled lovingly at me as he strode over to me. I looked into his reassuring face as he put a stray piece of hair to the side. He rested his hand on my silky hair, stroking it every once in a while. I leaned on my feet as he lifted my face close to his. Our breath sweet breath mingled on our skin as we closed the space between our lips. It was one of the most passionate and longest kisses I have ever experienced in all of my one hundred and sixty years of living. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he stroked my cheek with his thumb. It was heaven. It was pure bliss.

As I pulled away to catch my breath, Ethan pulled me close as he embraced me in a hug. I held on to him like there was no tomorrow-but what did it matter, for we are immortal.

I looked up at Ethan and kissed him again. This time it was lustful and short. While in the middle of kissing, I heard a distinct blow of a horn. It wasn’t just any horn; it was the blow of the horn meant for danger.

I looked at Ethan in horror as he clutched my arm and ran. Troupes of ring wraiths were raiding our peaceful town. Their screeches filled the air and penetrated our hearing. I had to stop just to cover my ears from that awful sound ringing in my head.

We ran further, trying to reach the path that led outside the city. As I reached the gate- a ring wraith stopped our path on his sinister horse with glowing eyes.

“Come with us my lady.” He spat out the words like swords.

Ethan drew his silver metallic sword. “Never in your short lifetime, fallen king!!” Ethan yelled at him furiously.

We elves are indeed immortal as you know. But elves can surely die by weaponry and some have died of extreme grief.

The ring wraith just grimaced and smirked at Ethan’s courageous deed of protecting me.

“Farah RUN!! Run and never return!! Remember that I love you with all of my heart and soul.” Ethan said solemnly above the countless cries around us.

Tears rolled down my fair skin and rolled off my cheek. “NO ETHAN!! NOOO DON”T LEAVE ME!! I love you with all of my heart and more than this life we share. You have shown me the greatest love anyone has ever shown me.” I screamed and cried out to him. The last part I whispered into the wind to him.

I turned around and ran before I saw what the wraith was capable of doing to Ethan. I ran until I got to the bridge that lay outside of the city.

When I heard no hooves or footsteps behind me, I decided to turn around to catch one last glimpse of my beloved town.

The town was buried in flames. Pools of crimson blood filled the cobble stone streets. Near the entrance what I saw made all the pigment color in my face drain.

Laying dead I saw my love, my Ethan. His throat was sliced and he had many deep stabs in his chest. His face was pale and lifeless. Not far away lay my father and mother dead as well.

In the distance, I heard once again the distance cries and bone chilling shrills of the ring wraiths as they charged south from my annihilated town.

i know she is one of the ebst writers in the forum..haha i wonder where peter will appear in that story.haha i still dont know where will will appear in mine so ill have to think haha
